Vampires, Werewolves, and a Trailer

Jacob or Edward? Aww...an age old question that has been passed down from generation to generation. Why choose when you can be somewhere in the middle! That's where this beauty comes in. Hideaway 205 at Three Rivers is a cozy trailer located in Forks, WA. The location is perfect as it's about 10 minutes from downtown Forks and 10 minutes from Quillayute, WA. You can pledge your love to both werewolf and vampire by staying equally between the two homebases.

When you first pull up to the Hideaway, the large canopy covering the trailer catches your eye. It's also covered in lights which, as we have established by now, is my kryptonite. Cover anything in lights and it's immediately elevated. Anyways, the canopy may not seem like a big deal if you were not aware that Forks receives an average of TEN FEET OF RAIN A YEAR!! If Jacob and Edward stood on top of each other, that'd be about how much rain Forks receives. That's why it's awesome that they've provided a canopy so you can still enjoy the outdoors without all of the annoyingness the outdoors can bring. Like driving rain.

Outside the trailer doors is a gorgeous seating area for two. It was a really great place to enjoy coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening. There was also a firepit right behind the trailer with pro vided wood. This may be weird

but I still think about that firewood...it was perfectly cut and dried. It made for the BEST fire I've ever made. I dream of making a fire just like that again. One day. There was even a lone deer that decided to pop out of the woods and make an appearance. Maybe a new Twilight character in the making...

Also provided was a charcoal grill ("Taste the meat, not the heat" ~ Hank Hill) and a ginormous hammock. It was really relaxing just lounging and looking up at the trees, listening to the birds, and feeling the breeze. Also, I'm not an influencer, so you can't make fun of my dirty, half-melted, blue Crocs with my red, fuzzy slipper socks. I'm just like one of you. I know you make fashion faux pas in the privacy of your own home.

The inside of the trailer was really clean and comfortable! This was actually our first time staying in a trailer in our adult-life. I was nervous that I'd do something wrong and clog the toilet (It's one of my biggest fears), but lo and behold, we didn't have any issues! And, you can take a sigh of relief to learn that the toilet was NOT clogged (whew).

The bed was really comfortable, we loved playing cards at the table, and there was even a DVD player with....guess which movie? You'll never guess....TWILIGHT!!! Did we watch it? Yes. 100 times yes. Have I seen it already 200 times? No, only once. But it was awesome watching it a second time!

All jokes aside, this is really an awesome place and I'd go back in

a heartbeat. I loved the kitchiness of the Twilight lore, the beauty of the area, and how close it was to the HOH Rain Forest. That place is just magical and will make you feel like you will now live in the middle of the wilderness with nothing but a loin cloth and maybe some bug spray.

Be sure to check out the Hidaway 205 Airbnb so you can book your own Twilight excursion.
